Date: 2011-11-14 01:36 (UTC)I think one of my biggest disappointments in the first KH, was when they made all of the Final Fantasy characters from Hollow Bastion. Of course, I should have been prepared for this, after seeing Selphie, Tidus, and Wakka on the Destiny Islands, but I must have blocked them out, because through most of the game I assumed the others were the same characters from the FF games... (with minor modifications to fit into the KH-verse)
One of my favourite ponderings is figuring out how to make it so their back-stories are intact.
FF8 characters are easy: Time Compression. Make the Darkness take the world during that, the characters are tossed to a variety of worlds. Time compression left their ages wacky and their GFs took their memories (or at least warped them). Not perfect, but I can live with it.
It's the FF7 characters that make me twitch...
Wow. I sure love to hear myself talk... Sorry for rambling at you. ^^;
